The Brief
- to provide a highly motivated and energetic 80-strong promotional support team
- to be operational from 6.30am, creating the theatre to engage the crowd later
- only 4 days notice due to the need for permissions and legal requirements
- much of the detail, including rendezvous, not confirmed until 24 hours before
The Solution
- team selected to ensure the client’s criteria were met (young, confident with a smiley disposition – suitable to represent the O2 brand even on a cold day)
- some were brought in from Brighton and Oxford at no extra cost to the client
- 3 ASP Event Managers to ensure logistics and supervise the entire route
The Results
- clients specification met within an extremely short time frame (four days)
- exceptional brand presence achieved for the client at the event
- 100,000 flyers and 20,000 flags distributed before the parade started
- ASP team commended for excellent performance under unique circumstances
