The Brief
- Our client asked us to manage 8 different sites across the UK for a 2 week period to raise funds for the Weston Spirit Charity
- The client wanted their staff to cycle on exercise bikes to cover the distance from their office in Glasgow to Madrid and back. This is a distance of 5000km and all of the kms covered at each site were added together to try to reach the 5000km target.
- To manage and be responsible for the health and safety of the participants and to ensure all results were collated and returned to our clients head office on a regular basis
- To educate and explain all about the Weston Spirit Charity and it’s aim in line with this activity
The Solution
- ASP selected individuals with a background in the sport and leisure industry to manage each site.
- ASP personally briefed all of the team on the exact requirements of the role and the client only had to brief us once
- ASP selected one senior member of the team to account manage the event to ensure consistency and quality of delivery in all the sites
The Results
- ASP were instrumental in motivating the staff to reach the distance goal and accurately report back these results to the client
- Our client had this to say; … “I just wanted to pop you a short note to say that we've had brilliant feedback….. Thanks so much for your support and help on this project and we'll let you know as soon as we've scoped the next ones and know what staffing we need to put in place."
